Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to CrossFit Utmost is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in regular classes.

To integrate a CrossFit class, you will have to go through 2 steps:

On-Ramp Session

Each person is required to take an session with one of our coaches. These are for all people new to CrossFit, regardless of one’s previous athletic background. This session will provide you with the techniques and skills necessary for maintaining safety and maximizing your results when you enter the group classes. The class is usually scheduled on Saturdays with one of  our trainers.

Beginner’s Class

The next step following your On-Ramp Session is to attend a Beginners’ Class. You will be part of a class but nuder the strict supervision of a coach. These classes involve more detailed instruction with the goal of helping you improve your basic movement patterns. Workouts are scaled down from the start as we encourage people to focus more on mechanics, form and consistency in their workouts, rather than worrying about intensity or weight.
